Read The Swarm, by Frank Schätzing (translated from original German, I think) and it was bloody brilliant. Hard to say anything about it without giving the plot away, but if you like Michael Crichton or eco-disasters, you'll probably like it.

Now reading The Loch by Steve Alten, which so far is pretty crap.

I'm still wading thru 'Odd Hours' I am determined to finish it, but I just can't get gripped by it, which makes me sad, as there are books of Koontz's I've read in a sitting.

Am now up to Pillars of Creation by Terry Goodkind. And this one's a paperback, which is a nice break for my wrist after holding up all the hardbacks in bed.
