Not quite the only saddo.  Although of this years contestants there's only about 4 of them that I've heard of before!
Enjoyed it so far, although as usual the first one voted out didn't deserve to be (and it's a shame that Matthew is out so early!).

Got to agree with you on all points there. It should have been Rav, Lynda or Joe. And Joe is looking around as though it's all beneath him, which hasn't really improved my opinion of him. My sister's met him a few times, and she thinks he's an absolute tosser.
Looking forward to the bloke from Hollyoaks next week. And, for totally different reasons, to Richard Dunwoody and Tuffers.

Your sister seems to meet quite a lot of famous folks! Frankly the fact that he's a boxer put me off to start with, but I agree on his attitude.

What did you think of this weeks Leigh? I think Ricky is an amazing dancer for saying it's only week one! I reckon there's a very good chance he'll win it this year.
Zoe is good too, as is Laila. I think Laila was let down by Anton's dull choreography - I think he needs to realise that he has a partner who can dance this year and up his game instead of putting something together that's not such a challenge for those who aren't so good!

Ricky was just amazing. Let's hope he doesn't peak too early.
I thought Zoe was overmarked on her Latin, and Laila was undermarked. But then, I think Laila was overmarked on the tango with such a glaring mistake.
I'm also very annoyed that Richard went out - should have been Jo Wood! Gods, but she's getting on my nerves with the breathy little girl voice and act.

Yup, it definitely should have been Jo that went out (strange how the worst two dancers this year are both called Jo/Joe)!

I agree they overmarked Zoe's dance (it was a bit bland for my liking), and Jade's dance was very good.

I dunno what the hell is going on with the voting public, as that's two weeks someone has gone from the top three to the bottom two.
I guess it could be that some are voting for the 'underdogs' out of symphathy, I can't think of any reason that Craig would have been voted through otherwise as he was completely hopeless!
Mind you I can't really complain too much as I wouldn't vote on principle as it's just a way for the BBC to make money. If you could vote for free via t'internet then I might, but otherwise no way!
Oh, and is it just me, or is it getting more and more obvious that Anton is a hopeless choreographer? I think he's only got away with it previous years as he's had rubbish partners, but now he has someone who's not bad, it's getting more obvious that his choreography is woeful (especially in the latin dances).

Totally agree about Anton with the Latin dances. Haven't they got the rumba next week? *cringe* And Craig totally needs to go; none of this Get Craig To Blackpool malarky. He's awful.
I thought Zoe was totally over-marked yet again (they really do love her, don't they) and that Jade was undermarked once more. They should have got extra marks for the spin Ian did at the end. Both Rickys got unfair comments, too.

You're right they really do like Zoe! I think of all the women Jade has improved the most. She seems to get better each week, where as the others seem to have good weeks and bad weeks.
The judges just don't seem to be consistent in their marking somehow.
I really wish they'd kept Arlene (yes she could be a cow, but she was usually constructive with it) and got rid of Craig Really-Horrible instead.
