The fact that rabbits sleep with their eyes open freaks me out tho. Watkins more so 'coz his are so blue.

Yeah it's a defense mechanism. Rabbits sleep sitting up with their eyes open, so that predators don't realise they're asleep.
I bet you anything, that's what he was doing there, I recognise the posture.
Have you ever noticed them sitting really still and looking glazed? It's 'coz theys asleep.
