New kitty!!

My aunt has come up to visit and brought my mum's Xmas present - a gorgeous long-haired silver patched tabby (has elements of tortie in it, hence the 'patched') male called Charlie. While I don't like pets as gifts, it was nice for my mum cos she was still putting off the having another pet after Pip's passing away. Although having heard of this cat's escapades, I'm positive it's Pip reincarnated. It's currently trying to unwrap everyone's presents, a la Pip, and likes playing with the old man's lighter! Pyro kitty!! So at least now she has some company, cos the quiet was getting to her and making her panica attacks more frequent. So this cat will be spoilt rotten! Once we've taken some pics of him, I'll post them here!!

Give us a break! We were out last night til midnight and I didn't have my camera with me!!You'll have to wait til after we've been down Boxing Day!!He looks similar to this :

Only more of a brownish colour. He's supposed to have a bit of apricot colour (to make him a tortie) but have not had a good enough look at him yet. He likes leaping off the cuch though!

Yeah, that's what I thought. She was going out and that, but the trouble was, she didn't want to go back home as it was empty (both my dad and sister work). Plus she's like me in that having a soft warm fuzzy thing to talk to and fuss over takes our minds off our own problems. Hence why I've told the OH that after Christmas, me and his mum will be having our way and geting a cat. I've already told him that I'll pay for everything like I did with the ratties, but I NEED to have a pet as it helps take my mind off my depression (and after last night's 'episode' I think he'll agree I need it) . Not going to get a kitten, as I'd rather a cat with character, plus I tend to like ones like Greebo, all scarred and 'manky'!!

Anyone know of other places that rehome cats besides CPL (*spit*) ???
