Hello from SezzyHi everyone Im Sarah from Tasmania Austrialia, most ppl call me sez or sezzy.
I joined rat chat cos I was a little bored with the common sites like facebook and myspace. This is my first forum site so might take be a bit to get used too.lol My favorite things are ratties so what a topic to chat about.
I grew up with pet mice and at the age of 17 thought it was time to upsize to rats. I bought my first rat Archie and from then on loved the little buggers. Sadly I had to put archie down and it was a traumatic event for the whole family. Even my mother that said when I first got him keep him away was very upset cos she got to like him a lot.
After finaly recovering from losing my best bud I bought two baby boys Chalk and Cheese. Both ratties went thur ups and downs from sickness especilly cheese. Cheese had a tumor on the side of his neck which at the time cost me half my pay check to remove but sadly 6 months later the tumor came back and was too advanced to remove. Meanwhile Chalk left me and his brother due to a respiratory disease which was also a sad day for the family. I was left with cheese but knew that it wouldnt be long till I have to get him put down so I got the courage to finally take him to the vet and the vet told me he was happy enough and was not in any pain so it was up to me what to do cos he could live for another 2-3 weeks and be happy. So I decided to take cheese home and spoil him and give him the best 2 weeks he had left. The little munchin enjoyed chocolate, chippies, lollies, custard anything I didnt feed him before and then 2 weeks later he passed.
Every night I passed their empty cage and would miss them dearly then one day I decided to take a trip to the pet shop and came home with my two darling babies Bubbles and Sqweek. They are the cutest baby girls ever and hopefully I'll be able to share some storys about them as they grow up.

hello my fellow tazmaniac!!wow!  Sez, how wierd to run into you on a forum in the uk.. the net is a strange place indeed! bet you must be sick of cadburys, or is that even possible!  I've been crazy busy getting a new place hence my absence latley.. and now I found a place, comes the fun part of packing & moving..  but love the unpacking part.. till the novelty wears off!! so till i get settled and work out where to put my ratty chat device, I may be slightly absent again this week.. (photos of my two gwirlys and our other angels  coming soon too!) enough talk, more packing.. bye for now all, back soon! maybe tonight if I get enough work done!! ha!

the gods wouldn't have to worry, they don't move very often.. take it youv'e moved around a bit missy! this is only my 4-5th one and I hated getting it all up the stairs and then discovering that we both managed to leave the bolts to put our bed back together at the old place  (bout hour round trip to go get..!)  but now I've finally gotten to put all my kitchen friends (mini caf'e style espresso maker  deep fryer-best hangover aid!..etc)n in their new home and not have to squeeze them into a tiny share kitchen!! Ahh bliss!

Not really, compared to some people - five times in the last 14 years. I just loathe it with a passion.
