Favourite female T.V characters.We spend a lot of time discussing fave male characters (mostly for obvious reasons) but there have to be some ladies on the box that we all admire.
My top five:
Abby Sciuto - I just love Abby more in every ep of NCIS, and don't know where to begin with why she's fab.
Penelope Garcia - Coz she is a large lady, wears glasses, is a bit off the wall and amazing intelligent. She just kicks ass.
Chloe O Brian - again with the being super intelligent, and I dunno why but I just love Chloe
Xiva David - coz she literally kicks ass, and I love the way she gets her words mixed up.
Stella Bonasera - she's classy and cool, but also kicks butt.

I'm definitely with you on Abby, although I always prefered Kate to Xiva (although she's grown on me).
I'll have to have a think about some of the others, although if we're not just talking current stuff I'll definitely include Susan Ivanova from Babylon 5 on the list, another tough cookie, but I loved her sense of humour too.

I'm with you on Abby and Garcia. Also, Benson from Law & Order: SVU, for her strength and empathy. And I'm still thinking on the rest.

Ivanova was a seriously cool character, she definately didn't suffer fools gladly!
Only other female character in a show for me has to be Olivia Dunham .. i thought she'd get on my wick at first but she kicks butt too !

Yeah, Olivia Dunham is a good character, I guess it's just unfortunate she's on a show with a brilliant character like Walter Bishop that kind of puts her in the shade.
