Demons (ITV) What an utter load of crap!

It wasn't very good, was it? It was trying to be Buffy in reverse (i.e. male slayer not female, US mentor to UK slayer, not UK mentor to US slayer, etc.), or just Buffy (lair is a library, sidekick wants to be more than friends but slayer doesn't), and failing miserably. It was distinctly lacking in humour too (apart from Philip Glenister's comedy US accent, which wasn't intentional!), and summat like that can't take itself too seriously. Dear oh dear.

yeah I saw it last night, acting was poor and tbh the best bit was Mckenzie turning up otherwise it would have been total tosh...

That bad then huh?
I recorded it, and am planning on watching before the next ep on saturday (least i'll know if it's worth watching any more then)
Most people i know who watched it were very unimpressed

Well maybe you'll be the odd one who actually likes it! I might give it another week to see if it improves any (as they sometimes do), but I'm not holding out much hope.

I'm usually the odd one that likes something everyone else hates

Sare, we share the same love of so bad that it's good, but this is just dire.

I really tried to go in with an open mind...........but goodness me it was dreadful.
I mean literally everything was dreadful, the acting, the script, the effects, the make-up. It was abysmal.

It was pretty dire wasn't it
I recorded last night's ep but if it doesn't get better in this episode then i'm not gonna bother with it

Didn't even bother last night.

I watched last night's ep just in case it got any better and it didn't. It was trying even harder to be Buffy than ever - Rupert doing training with slayer-boy, slayer-boy taking his driving test and trying to be normal, Mum who doesn't have a clue what's going on (a la Joyce in the early seasons of Buffy).
Won't be bothering with it again.

I really though it was going to be good, was quite excited, it's so bad! how has it managed to get such good actors to be any part of it!
