We really don't have many rules here, 'coz none of really believe in them, and having to enforce them is boring and we'd all much rather be doing summat else, but there are a few things we ask you to be aware of.

Whilst we welcome diversity of opinion and encourage debate, we ask people to be respectful of others opinions and views at all time, and the posting of sensitive subjects purely to cause reactions and start arguments will not be tolerated. A warning will be issued if we feel this has been the case, and repeated offences will result in removal from the forum

Multiple accounts are not acceptable. Trolls are absolutely forbidden here, and the joining of the forum purely to cause trouble and upset members, will result in immediate banning, no warning issued. Sharing accounts is also not allowed, as it becomes very difficult to know who you are talking to. If you wish to post on the board, register your own account.

We encourage the rehoming of rats here on Rat Chat and have a forum dedicated to this purpose, however we do not support the advertisement of kittens purposely bred for sale, and anyone attempting to sell kittens will have their post removed.

Although there is an option for users to appear hidden on the board, we ask that you do not use this, unless you are an active member of the community. Choosing the hidden option so you can read the board unobserved is deemed anti-social behaviour by the moderating team. And be aware that admin sees all.

All posts must be written in full standard English - many of our members are older than the mobile phone generation, so we do not allow textspeak to be used. Use of excessive caps is also discouraged, esp in thread titles.

Posting of derogatory comments about Ian Watkins or Orlando Bloom will result in immediate banning, no warnings issued. This isn't fair, but I'm the boss so what are you gonna do?

Suggesting that I fancy the Naked Chef is also a banning offence.
